Artist statement:
The stage is my home and with every piece of music I orchestrate, and every lyric I compose, the listener is obtaining a piece of me, my life, what I value, what I enjoy, and lastly who I am, not only as an Artist but as a creative person in this world. I grew up listening to various genres as a child into adulthood. Pop, Rnb, Gospel , Rock, and funk, as these genres are the driving force of my artistry. Various elements of these sounds can be found in my new release, Melodies of Fire.This Album is not for the one-dimensional individual but rather for the unique characters that, are multidimensional, multifaceted, multifluid, and is like fire, it cannot be contained.

Fire can be interpreted in many different ways; however, the main premise of the song is about wanting to obtain and or having the desire to achieve a specific goal and or dream. It's desiring and wanting something so badly but wondering if the world is ready to receive what you have to offer, and If the audience is truly ready to receive your passion, your hard work, your drive, your sweat, your tears, your inner being, your fire.

MyMy exploits the playful banter between attraction and want when exploring the undeniable connection two people have when they first meet. It’s fun, flirtatious, and playful.

I just wanted to write a song about the two dynamics of feeling good, and love. We as a people are experiencing many hardships, trials and tribulations so I felt like we needed something to make us feel sooo mmm mmm good :)

Simply put, this is a song inspired by the dynamic of love, giving and receiving it.

Love Notes Ep Details
This EP expresses the various different stages of love whether its fun and up beat or slow and sultry. Each track represents what love makes you feel. From infatuation, flirtation, attraction, to that initial connection. This Ep gives just a taste of what is to come for the Melodies of Fire album that is set to debut in the Summer of 2024. A lot of heart, soul, preparation, creativity, and dedication was put into this Ep and it is FYA's first official release.
